The Long Night

Henry Fonda stars as Joe Adams, a steel worker who falls in love with Jo Ann (Barbara Bel Geddes) and wants to save her from sinister magician Maximilian (Vincent Price). A struggle results in Maximilian's death, leaving Joe to ponder his fate while barricaded against the police in his apartment. Price performed his magic act without camera tricks in The Long Night, a remake of Jean Gabin's classic French film Le Jour se Leve.
