The Lost World

This BBC adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic novel of the same name follows a 1911 British scientific team on a terrifying journey into an uncharted central Amazon jungle where, according to rumor, dinosaurs still walk the earth. Not only do the explorers, led by Prof. Challenger (Bob Hoskins), find the prehistoric creatures, they also encounter strange manlike apes and a tribe of primitives who think Challenger is a god.
