Marital fidelity takes a beating in director Ernst Lubitsch's stylish sex comedy. Artful schemes abound as discontented housewife Mizzi Stock (Marie Prevost) sets her sights on Dr. Franz Braun (Monte Blue) -- the hubby of her blissfully wed best friend, Charlotte (Florence Vidor). Meanwhile, Mizzi's mate (Adolphe Menjou), who's itching for a divorce, hires a private investigator to get the goods on his irredeemably coquettish wife.
