A rare physical disorder prevents Kevin (Kieran Culkin), a brilliant seventh-grader who lives in the world of his imagination, from living a normal life. When Kevin crosses paths with the learning-disabled but very large and strong Max (Elden Henson), they share a connection. As they bond over a fantasy world of knights and sorcerers, the two outcasts combine their strengths at home and school to overcome their weaknesses. Sharon Stone co-stars.
