Based on a novel by Norma Levinson, this Hallmark Hall of Fame production follows chain-smoking Boston teacher Leah Lazenby (Stockard Channing) on her quest to start a boarding house inside her family home, which yields surprising results. While Leah expected her new tenants (including Sam Waterston, Joan Allen, Clancy Brown, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jerry O'Connell) to be a source of extra income, she never thought they'd enrich her life.
