Growing up in the segregated South, Luke (Cody Newton) and Joshua (Duane McLaughlin) overcome prejudice to become best friends. When their youthful antics lead to the discovery of a racially motivated triple-homicide, local sheriff Frank Richards (Dean Cain) vows to crack the case. Part of the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" series, this made-for-television movie combines murder mystery with coming-of-age drama.
