The Silver Stallion

Based on a novel by Elyne Mitchell, this family drama tells the story of Thowra, a wild stallion in the mountains of Australia who grows from a colt into the leader of the pack, defeating powerful adversaries both human and equine along the way. Caroline Goodall stars as author Mitchell, who relates the tale to her daughter, Indi (Amiel Daemion). Russell Crowe appears in an early film role as a man who seeks to tame the proud horse.
