This documentary charts the ascendance of an unlikely fad: What started out as a bowling alley party attended by a few dozen fans of cult hit The Big Lebowski has grown into an annual festival that draws thousands of costume-clad Lebowski lovers. Through interviews with Lebowski Fest participants ("achievers"), footage of the festival and clips from the Coen Brothers' beloved film, helmer Eddie Chung paints an amusing picture of the phenomenon.
