The Adventures of Champion

Set in the American Southwest of the 1880s, this popular television drama -- inspired by Gene Autry's 1940s radio show -- centers on the adventures of 12-year-old Ricky North (Barry Curtis), his dog, Rebel, and the wild mustang, Champion, that he befriends. In the episodes collected here, boy, dog and horse get into a variety of scrapes that involve everything from incurring the ire of trappers by rescuing a fawn to helping a wounded prisoner.
