When a policeman dies while saving his wife from a knife-wielding pickpocket, the constable's loyal terrier, Bobby, refuses to leave his side even after the lawman is buried. The tiny canine travels over hill and dale to keep his graveside vigil -- until a new law concerning strays imperils Bobby in this fact-based drama set in 19th-century Scotland.
