The Amazing Grace

Nick Moran plays John Newton, a slave ship captain who undergoes a spiritual transformation when two of his human "cargo" rescue him during a storm in this British-Nigerian biopic about the man who wrote the hymn "Amazing Grace." After falling in love with one of his rescuers, Newton reassesses his life, beginning a journey that will eventually lead him to God and his new calling, that of an Anglican cleric.
