Portraying goofy gas-pump jockey Gomer Pyle, Jim Nabors became a cast regular -- joining the homespun denizens of tranquil Mayberry, N.C. -- in the third season of this Emmy-winning television series. Of course, laid-back Sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) is on hand, along with young son Opie (Ron Howard), spinster Aunt Bee (Frances Bavier) and twitchy, bumbling deputy Barney Fife (Don Knotts). Guests include Ellen Corby and George Kennedy.
