An African slave girl named Mamauwi (Pam Grier) and the beautiful Bodaecia of Brittany (Margaret Markov) are kidnapped by the Romans and forced to be concubines for the gladiators. But the Romans are quickly losing interest in the usual gladiatorial fare, and Mamauwi and Bodaecia soon find themselves in the ring, fighting for their lives. Joe D'Amato directs this exploitation flick that's a takeoff on Spartacus.
