Ryan O'Neal is suave and deadly as Vietnam vet Jack Ryan in this adaptation of Elmore Leonard's gripping novel. When Jack meets party girl Nancy (Leigh Taylor-Young,), the daughter of a power broker, he falls in love with her, and before long the two are concocting a plan to spirit away millions and steal away together.
