Mired in an unfulfilling existence and yearning for some excitement, Lloyd Meadows (James McManus) decides to take charge of his life. His solution: trade in his ho-hum job as a waiter for that of a private investigator. Newly licensed, Lloyd plunges into the gritty milieu of the modern gumshoe. But as he shadows a husband suspected of cheating, his private and professional worlds suddenly start to overlap.
