A series of tiny tremors are only the precursors to the record-setting quake brewing beneath Southern California, and now it's up to seismologist Clare Winslow (Joanna Kerns) to predict the exact place and time the disaster will strike. Of course, that's only half the battle: The other half is persuading nervous city officials to release the information to the public. Dan Lauria and Bonnie Bartlett co-star in this gripping made-for-TV drama.
