Despite his successful career, Chicago psychologist Robert Hartley (Bob Newhart) has a knack for bungling his own personal problems. In the third season of this popular 1970s sitcom, Bob takes two of his therapy groups on an outing in the woods and more. The Hartleys decide that they should take up separate residences, and Bob agrees to run for chairman of the local school board against an incumbent who's neglected his duties.
