When Lenny Brown (James Woods) is recruited to go to Los Angeles and hustle real estate, he jumps at the opportunity. But when the housing market hardens, Lenny steals $20,000 from his boss (Steven Hill) and moves to Santa Cruz to detox from his cocaine addiction. The plan fails miserably, however, when his dealer stops by to party and Lenny can't keep his hands off of the drug. Sean Young co-stars.
