Based on true events of the early 1960s, this thriller tells the story of petty criminal Albert De Salvo (David Faustino), who, manipulated by his cell mate while in prison, falsely confesses to being the notorious Boston Strangler. Meanwhile, detective John Marsden (Andrew Divoff) desperately tries to uncover the real killer -- sometimes veering from the straight and narrow as his investigation bumps up against department bureaucracy.
