The Chatterley Affair

Louise Delamere and Rafe Spall star as fictional jurors in writer Andrew Davies's envisaging of the milestone obscenity trial surrounding the publication of D.H. Lawrence's salacious novel Lady Chatterley's Lover. While details of the trial are a matter of record, actual jury deliberation is still a mystery. This dramatization from director James Hawes speculates on what may have occurred among the 12 in 1960 to lead them to their verdict.
