This haunting drama set in Paris centers on Max (Fernando Fernán Gómez), a former titan of Spanish industry who's terminally ill. As his family gathers around him, the feverish Max rambles incessantly about a plot against Rancel, apparently a one-time acquaintance. But when Max becomes increasingly earnest in his ranting, his son Victor (Leonardo Sbaraglia) takes him seriously and investigates the story.
