Unable to pay his wife's medical bills, a man tries to raise funds by making an absurd bet in this poignant social drama directed by Iranian filmmaking legend Mohsen Makhmalbaf. An Afghan refugee and well-digger, Nasim (Moharram Zaynalzadeh) will be disgraced if he doesn't pay his debt. Unwilling to resort to illegal smuggling, he agrees to ride a bicycle continuously for an entire week while locals wager on his ability to finish.
