Director Tom Hooper's fictionalized biopic chronicles the colorful career of Brian Clough (Michael Sheen), the fiercely strong-willed and outspoken soccer manager who served a famously short tenure at the helm of England's reigning champs, Leeds United, in 1974. Written for the screen by Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon) and based on David Peace's critically acclaimed novel, this sharply funny sports drama co-stars Jim Broadbent and Timothy Spall.
