The Dark Angel

Kitty Vane (Merle Oberon, who received an Oscar nomination for her performance), Alan Trent (Frederic March) and Gerald Shannon (Herbert Marshall) have been friends since childhood. Both men are in love with Kitty, but she becomes engaged to Alan just before World War I begins. When the two men go off to war, resentful Gerald sends Alan on a dangerous mission that will change all of their lives. The Dark Angel won a Best Art Direction Oscar.
