In this classic Western, a young John Wayne stars as John Mason, who returns home just in time to witness his father being shot down by a gang of bad guys. Mason chases the men and manages to shoot three of them before taking a bullet himself. Alice Gordon (Marion Burns) comes to Mason's aid, but when he finds out Alice is the girlfriend of the man who shot him and the sister of the man who killed his father, things are bound to get complicated.
