Japanese director Yoshitaro Nomura adapts another suspenseful novel by popular mystery writer Seicho Matsumoto. The story arc charts the thick web of entanglements that exist among a married couple, the husband's mistress and a guileless young boy who finds himself helplessly caught between the adults' treacherous manipulations. This intricate and compelling film stars Shima Iwashita, Ken Ogata and Mayumi Ogawa.
