An outlaw (Glenn Ford) tries to go straight after visiting his old friend (Randolph Scott) who's recently turned lawman. But when the town bank is robbed, suspicions turn to the reformed bad guy. Now, he must find the real bandits and bring them to justice. A solid 1940s Western that takes place circa 1863, The Desperadoes co-stars Claire Trevor, Edgar Buchanan and Evelyn Keyes. Charles Vidor directs.
