The Doe Boy

  (2001)
First-time filmmaker Randy Redroad directs this engrossing semi-autobiographical story of a boy caught between two cultures in rural Oklahoma. Hunter Kirk's mother is an Indian, and his father is white. If that isn't enough of a challenge, the boy is beset with hemophilia.
