The Hungarian Dolly sisters -- Jenny (Betty Grable) and Rosie (June Haver) -- sing and dance their way into vaudeville stardom and hit it big on the international stage with help from their manager, Uncle Latsie (S.Z. Sakall), in this stylish musical biopic. But fame soon strains Jenny's relationship with dashing tunesmith Harry Fox (John Payne). Songs include "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" and the Oscar-nominated "I Can't Begin to Tell You."
