A group of gangsters known as "The 800 Dragons" are ruthless toward any of their former members. So when Snooker (Dean Shek), a member who chose to defect, is discovered in Russia, the Dragons' grand master kidnaps him and his friend Yao (Sam Hui) -- and brainwashes them into becoming assassins. In the midst of a job, Yao meets up with an old girlfriend (Maggie Chueng) and is ordered to kill her. But in the end, his heart may trump his head.
