Deciding they have nothing left to lose, Amanda (Goldie Hawn) and Charlie (George Segal) make a run for it from San Francisco's Barbary Coast to Salt Lake City. With the outlaws hot on their heels, the two hit the dusty trail, join a Mormon wagon train and manage to fall in love.
