The Enforcer

A crusading district attorney (Humphrey Bogart) tries to crack a ring of organized killers, but just when victory is imminent -- after four arduous years -- a key witness is murdered, and it's back to square one. The D.A. retraces the murderers' steps as he searches for evidence that will convict the ringleader. Based on the Murder, Inc. trials, The Enforcer is told in a series of flashbacks and is a prime example of vintage film noir.
