After overhearing talk of an enchanted Egyptian tomb that brings disaster to anyone who disturbs it, young artist Albert Wendland (Harry Liedtke) drops his paintbrushes and sets off on an intriguing adventure. But instead of finding a mummy in the crypt, he finds a beautiful woman (Pola Negri) who's being held captive by the evil Radu (Emil Jannings). And as it turns out, rescuing her has a way of evoking the tomb's mysterious curse. …
