The Fire Trap

Insurance appraiser Bill Farnsworth (Norman Foster) wins the affection of beautiful young Betty Marshall (Evalyn Knapp) after saving her dog from a blazing inferno. But when he discovers Betty's uncle is planning to burn down his own building to collect insurance money, Farnsworth is torn about whether to reveal the truth. Veteran actor Sidney Blackmer -- who would later go on to play President Teddy Roosevelt seven times -- co-stars.
