Director Joel Lamangan's riveting docudrama stars Nora Aunor as Flor Contemplacion, an indigent Filipina who seeks her fortune overseas in Singapore as a maid. But her dream of a better life for her family, including four children, turns nightmarish after she's accused of murdering another domestic and the child the woman was tending. Flor later confesses upon the advice of counsel and is executed -- despite signs pointing to her innocence.
