The Garden of Allah

After the death of her father, Domini Enfilden (Marlene Dietrich) takes the advice of her Mother Superior and embarks on a spiritual retreat in Algeria, where she becomes involved with Boris Androvsky (Charles Boyer), a brooding traveler with a secret past. Love blooms in the desert for the unlikely pair, but their happiness is threatened when a French Legion officer shows up looking for Boris. Basil Rathbone and Joseph Schildkraut co-star.
