For millennia, a brontosaurus-like creature has lain dormant beneath the sea. Awakened by atomic testing and mutated by radiation into an electric shock-spewing nightmare, the beast nearly obliterates the English coast before heading to London. But blowing it up means exposing all of England to nuclear fallout. Gene Evans stars in this whopper of a monster movie, with effects by Willis H. O'Brien, the visual arts whiz behind 1933's King Kong.
