In this off-the-wall Italian import, middle-aged Dino Romani (Ben Gazzara) -- an American expatriate -- falls in love with a mysterious and mentally unstable young beauty named Nicole (Ornella Muti), who has a penchant for exhibitionism. Closing his eyes to the telltale signs, Dino embarks on a passionate affair with Nicole ... which ends in a shocking fashion. Mimsy Farmer plays Dino's former girlfriend.
