Blond bombshell Brigitte Bardot turns in one of her earliest on-screen roles in this French-language comedy-drama from director Willy Rozier, a film that uses Bardot's beauty as a central element of the plot. As the story unfolds, two men (Jean-François Calvé and Howard Vernon) have come to the coast in search of hidden treasure -- but they largely abandon their plans when they catch a glimpse of the local lighthouse keeper's daughter (Bardot).
