Starring as dramatist Anton Chekhov, Richard Chamberlain unifies a series of humorous sketches adapted for the small screen by legendary playwright Neil Simon in this witty homage to the Russian writer. Simon's play draws inspiration from the satirical vignettes and short stories Chekhov wrote in the early part of his career. Edward Asner, Bob Dishy, Lee Grant and Marsha Mason portray numerous characters.
