When a murder is committed near her home, an alcoholic former opera star (Louise Dresser) believes she has one final chance at recaputuring her fame. Hoping to gain some publicity, she cooks up a story, an action that leads to unfortunate unintended consequences. Will the truth be revealed before it's too late? Directed by Clarence Brown, this silent melodrama co-stars Jack Pickford, Constance Bennett and George Cooper.
