Narrated by Cowboy Hall of Fame actor Joel McCrea, this Oscar-winning documentary explores the world of American rodeo and the ties between the lives of pioneer settlers and contemporary cowboys. The film follows veteran Larry Mahan and newcomer Phil Lyne as they prepare for and compete in world championship events. Incredible photography captures the outstanding rodeo action, which was filmed in several locations across the country.
