Amidst the turmoil of the 1960s, a romantic triad develops between idealistic college student Laura (Jasmine Trinca), political radical Libero (Luca Argentero) and aspiring actor Nicola (Riccardo Scamarcio), but their love and passions are put to the test when one's secret threatens to break their bond. Italian director Michele Placido's autobiographical ode to mid-century politics and young love garnered a nod at the Venice Film Festival.
