Sparks -- romantic and otherwise -- fly between a black music producer (Lamman Rucker) and a Latina choir director (Aida Rodriguez) when they hatch a plan to coax their struggling churches to sing together in a national gospel competition. But the duo soon realizes that if their ethnically different churches are to succeed, the congregations will have to set aside their prejudices. Willie Macc co-stars in this uplifting romance.
