Beautiful young heiress Barbara Blandish (Kim Darby) is kidnapped by the brutal Grissom Gang, whose plan is both simple and savage: keep the ransom and kill the hostage. But when psychotic simpleton Slim Grissom (Scott Wilson) falls in love with Barbara, she is forced into a bizarre relationship of violence and desire.
