This over-the-top, fantastical Hong Kong action movie pits three female superheroes -- Wonder Woman (Anita Mui), Thief Catcher (Maggie Cheung) and Invisible Girl (Michelle Yeoh) -- against a Ming Dynasty eunuch so besotted with China's colonial history he wants to bring it back to present-day times. To stop him in his plot to reestablish imperialism by kidnapping male babies, the trio must kick their super skills into high gear.
