Inspired by the work of acclaimed playwright Federico García Lorca, this engrossing drama directed by Mario Camus stars Irene Gutiérrez Caba as Bernarda Alba, an iron-willed widow and matriarch of a Spanish family on the verge of an emotional coup d'etat. But her reign of terror -- established when the clan's male leaders all passed away -- is about to end as other women struggle for control.
