When their father dies, leaving them penniless, destitute sisters Evangeline (Louise Lombard) and Beatrice (Stella Gonet) Eliott must get by with nothing but a passion for haute couture. In the third season of this drama, the sisters return to London after a stint in the States. Meanwhile, Tilly's (Cathy Murphy) pregnancy begins to affect her health, and Jack's (Aden Gillett) involvement with the Communist Party stirs up trouble.
