The Ice Runner

Stationed in the Soviet Union, U.S. spy Jeff West is betrayed by the CIA and sentenced to certain death. Assuming the name of a dead petty thief, he reroutes himself to a minimum security camp and begins planning his escape. The suspicious camp commander, Kolya, sends for the dead thief's wife, who could expose West but instead begins a love affair with him. West and Kolya face off as the brutal game climaxes in a final run to freedom.
