Every year the king of butterflies, the monarch, takes to the skies en masse when millions of the winged wonders begin their two-month, 2,000-mile journey to the mountains of central Mexico. This Nova presentation allows viewers to join the trek. Through footage shot from helicopters, ultralights and hot-air balloons, the Stockard Channing-narrated program provides a captivating butterfly's-eye view of the migration.
